This vibrant and spicy dish includes the fiery kick of chilli combined with the fresh flavour of coriander seed and the woody and aromatic flavour of thyme.
  • 1 tablespoons olive oil

  • 450 gram (1 pound) minced beef

  • 1 red pepper, diced

  • 125 gram (5 ounce) celery, sliced

  • 3 teaspoon Cajun Seasoning

  • 125 gram (5 ounce) long grain rice

  • 475 millilitre (16 fluid ounce) water

  • 1 bunch spring onions, sliced

  • Schwartz Sea Salt to season


  • 1 Toss in the pepper and celery and cook over a medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
  • 2 Sprinkle in the Perfect Shake Cajun Herb & Spice Blend and add the rice, cook for 1 minute, stirring frequently.
  • 3 Stir in the water, bring to the boil, cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the rice is cooked. Stir in the spring onions and serve.
  • 4 Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan and fry the mince for 6-8 minutes until browned. Drain any excess liquid.
