A tasty mix of fruits flavoured with Vanilla and Cinnamon, delicious simply served with cream or makes a great filling for a crumble or pie.
  • 450 gram (1 pound) rhubarb, sliced

  • 2 pears, sliced

  • 225 gram (8 ounce) plums, stones removed and halved

  • ¾ tablespoons water

  • 50 gram (2 ounce) caster sugar (or to taste)

  • ½ Vanilla Pod , , split

  • 1 Cinnamon Sticks , , broken in 2

  • 1 Place all the fruit in a large saucepan with the water, sugar, Vanilla Pod and Cinnamon Stick. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until the fruit is tender.
  • 2 Cool and remove the Vanilla Pod and Cinnamon Stick just before serving. Serve with cream, or as the filling for a crumble or pie.
