Tandoori Spiced Mackerel

Fresh mackerel is a delicious and simple fish when flavoured with special spices and cooked quickly under a hot grill.

  • Combine the coconut cream, COOK ART Spice Blend, lime juice and Turmeric in a large bowl.

  • Cut 3 diagonal slits in each side of the mackerel down to the bone to allow the marinade to penetrate right into the centre.

  • Add the mackerel to the bowl and coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to marinade.

  • Pre-heat the grill to hot and grill the mackerel for 4-5 minutes on each side, basting frequently, until browned and cooked through. Serve immediately with lime wedges.
