Sizzling Sausages With Jalapeno Dip

Plump sausages served with a spicy jalapeno pepper dip.
Ingredients
450 gram (1 pound) good quality sausages
1 onion, sliced into rings
1 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoons Hot Chilli Powder
1 tablespoons Flat Leaf Parsley
400 gram (14 ounce) canned, chopped tomatoes
200 gram (7 ounce) cream cheese
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Place the sausages in a large non-stick frying pan and cook over a low heat for 10 minutes, turning occasionally.
- 2 Add the onions to the pan and continue to cook for a further 10 minutes.
- 3 Make the dip: Heat the oil and cook the Chilli and Parsley for one minute over a low heat. Add the tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes, uncovered. Remove the pan from the heat and cool, place the tomato mixture in a blender with the cream cheese and whiz until smooth.
- 4 Serve the sausages and onions with the dip.
