A great side dish for Sunday lunch, or delicious served with sausages or chicken, this recipe combines steamed cauliflower and broccoli with a rich Cheddar Cheese Sauce.
Place the broccoli and cauliflower in a steamer and steam for 5-6 minutes, until tender but still al dente.
Meanwhile, blend the packet contents with the milk and bring to the boil, stirring. Add the butter if using, and leave to simmer for 1 minute.
Place the steamed broccoli and cauliflower in a large serving dish and pour over the Cheddar Cheese Sauce.
