Ingredients
1 red onion, chopped
11/4 teaspoon Sea Salt
500 Mill (17 fluid ounce) water
75 Mill (3 fluid ounce) lime juice
2 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon honey
2 teaspoon Garlic Granules
400 gram (14 ounce) tomatoes, chopped seeded
125 gram (5 ounce) cucumber, chopped
75 gram (3 ounce) carrot, grated
2 tablespoon coriander, chopped
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Mix onion, 1 tsp of the Sea Salt and water in medium bowl. Let soak 10 minutes, then drain well.
- 2 Whisk lime juice, oil, honey, Garlic Granules, pepper and remaining ¼ tsp Sea Salt in large bowl. Add drained onion, tomatoes, cucumber, carrot and coriander, toss well. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve as an accompaniment to Tanzanian BBQ Skewers with Tomato Onion Sauce
