Roasted veg with Schwartz is an easy was to simplify your approach to side dishes! Spend less time in the kitchen and more time with family with this tasty Roasted Root Vegetable Stuffing. Bursting with flavourful caramelized veggies, this dish is sure to please everyone at the table, no matter what their dietary preference.
Preheat oven to 200˚C, 400˚F, Gas Mark 6. Toss together leftover carrots, parnsips, potatoes, swede, onion and oil. Sprinkle with contents of Sticky Glazed Root Vegetable sachet, then mix well to coat thoroughly. Arrange on parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and sticky.
Preheat oven to 180˚C, 350˚F, Gas Mark 4. Toss together sticky roasted vegetable mixture, bread, Dried Sage, Dried Thyme and moisten with vegetable stock until moist but not soggy. Arrange in greased 20x28cm (9x12inch) baking dish and dot with cubed margarine. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and heated through.
Tip: This stuffing can be rolled in plastic wrap and set up in fridge. To reheat, slice into pieces and pan fry for a great side dish and second meal.
