Korean BBQ seasoned steak with spicy teriyaki style noodles.
Ingredients
  • 1 sachet Korean BBQ Seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons oil

  • 275 grams (10 ounces) rump or sirloin steak

  • 2 tablespoons reduced salt soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 4 tablespoons light brown sugar

  • 3 tablespoons mirin

  • 1 teaspoon cornflour

  • 200 grams (7 ounces) purple sprouting broccoli

  • 200 grams (7 ounces) mushrooms, sliced

  • 1 red pepper, thinly sliced

  • 250 grams (8 ounces) egg noodles, cooked

Instructions

  • 1 Mix 1 tbs of the oil with the Korean Street Food Seasoning in a medium bowl, add the steak and coat in the seasoning.
  • 2 Heat a griddle or frying pan to a medium-high heat and cook the steak for around 4 minutes on each side or until done to your liking, then allow to rest.
  • 3 Meanwhile, combine the soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, mirin, cornflour and the remaining Korean Street Food Seasoning. Heat remaining oil in a wok. Add in the broccoli, mushroom, red pepper and stir fry for 3-4 minutes or until just tender.
  • 4 Add the soy sauce mixture and the noodles to the wok and mix until coated and the sauce thickened. Divide the noodles between two plates, then slice the steak and serve on top.
