Deliciously sweet and chocolatey puddings with a gooey middle, delicately spiced with Cinnamon and a hint of Chilli.
Ingredients
175 gram (6 ounce) plain flour
200 gram (7 ounce) sugar
6 tablespoons cocoa powder, unsweetened
2 teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon Chilli Flakes , (optional)
1 teaspoon Cinnamon Ground
pinch Schwartz Sea Salt
125 millilitre (4 fluid ounce) milk
4 tablespoons oil
175 millilitre (6 fluid ounce) water
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Pre-heat the oven to 180°C, 350°F, Gas Mark 4.
- 2 Grease 6 individual ramekins and dust with flour.
- 3 Mix together the flour, 125g (5oz) of the sugar, 4 tbs cocoa powder, baking powder, Crushed Chillies, Cinnamon and Salt.
- 4 Add the milk and oil and blend until smooth.
- 5 Pour the mixture evenly into the ramekins. Mix the remaining sugar and cocoa powder together and sprinkle evenly on top of each ramekin. Pour 2 tbs of boiling water on each, without stirring.
- 6 Place on a baking tray and cook in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
- 7 Serve immediately with whipped cream, if desired.
