  • 1 medium yellow onion, halved and thinly sliced

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1 tablespoon Hearty Seasoning

  • Kosher salt, to taste

  • Squeeze of lemon juice

  • Chips, for serving


  • 1 Preheat the oven to 400˚F (200˚C).
  • 2 Spread the onion on a baking sheet and drizzle with the olive oil. Roast for 15-20 minutes, until the onion is slightly charred. Let cool to room temperature, then roughly chop and transfer to a medium bowl.
  • 3 To the bowl, add the mayonnaise, sour cream, Hearty spice blend, salt, and lemon juice and whisk to combine.
  • 4 Serve the onion dip with chips.
  • 5 Enjoy!
