A twist on your usual mashed potatoes, this recipe combines potato with cauliflower, Garlic and Parsley, delicious served with pork or chicken.
  • 25 gram (1 ounce) butter

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 1 small cauliflower, cut into florets

  • 175 gram (6 ounce) potatoes, peeled and diced

  • 100 gram (4 ounce) red Leicester cheese, grated

  • 4 tablespoons milk

  • 1 tablespoons Garlic Cooking Paste

  • 1 tablespoons Flat Leaf Parsley

  • Schwartz Sea Salt and Black Pepper to season


  • 1 Melt the butter in a saucepan and gently fry the onion for a couple of minutes to soften.
  • 2 Add the cauliflower and potatoes and enough water to cover them both. Bring to the boil, then reduce to a simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until tender.
  • 3 Drain and stir in the Cheese, milk Garlic and Parsley. Mash well and season to taste.
