This super tasty Brazilian BBQ steak sandwich is the perfect alternative to regular old sandwiches for any get together with family or friends! An inspired seared steak sandwich seasoned with our Brazilian BBQ street food seasoning, and combined with a herby chimichurri sauce that will lift the flavour and leave all your friends & family asking for more.

  • For the steak sandwich

  • 1 sachet brazilian bbq

  • 2 medium beef skirt or rump steaks

  • 1 tablespoon oil

  • 2 medium ciabatta rolls

  • Handful rocket leaf

  • 1/4 red onion, finely sliced

  • 75 grams (3 ounces) roasted red peppers (from jar)

  • 4 tablespoons chimichurri sauce, (optional)

  • For the chimichurri sauce

  • 1 red pepper, sliced

  • 1/2 red onion, chopped

  • 50 grams (2 ounces) coriander leaves

  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar

  • 1 garlic clove, chopped

  • 1 teaspoon Oregano

  • 1/2 teaspoon Smoked Paprika

  • 1/4 teaspoon Chilli Flakes

  • Sea Salt Adjustable Grinder Mill , to season


  • 1 Brush the steaks with the oil then sprinkle the Brazilian BBQ seasoning over both sides, pat to coat.  Cook under a pre-heated grill, or in a griddle pan until cooked to your liking then allow to rest.
  • 2 Halve the ciabatta rolls, then place under the grill for a few seconds to toast.
  • 3 For the chimichurri sauce, place ingredients in a blender and process until coarsely chopped.
  • 4 Finally, slice the steak and then layer in the sandwich with rocket, red onion, red pepper, and the chimichurri sauce.
  • 5 Your Brazilian BBQ steak sandwich is ready to eat. Enjoy!
