Delicious potatoes cooked in a creamy sauce flavoured with Onion, Garlic, Parsley, Chives and Mustard Seed combined with cherry tomatoes and ham and then topped with cheese before being baked in the oven for a mouth-watering potato and onion gratin.

675 gram (1 1/2 pounds) potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
150 millilitre (1/4 pint) double cream
125 millilitre (4 fluid ounce) milk
2 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Granules
1 teaspoon Flat Leaf Parsley
2 teaspoon Chives
1 teaspoon Yellow Mustard Seeds , , crushed
Butter for greasing
125 gram (5 ounce) cherry tomatoes, quartered
100 gram (4 ounce) Cheddar cheese, grated
Schwartz Sea Salt & Black Pepper to season
100 gram (4 ounce) cooked ham, sliced
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Pre-heat the oven to 190°C, 375°F, Gas Mark 5.
- 2 Place the potatoes, cream, milk, Onion, Garlic, Parsley, Chives and Mustard Seeds in a large saucepan, season to taste. Bring to the boil and then reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- 3 Meanwhile, grease an ovenproof dish with butter. Add the tomatoes and ham to the potatoes and pour into the dish. Top with the cheese and bake for 40 - 45 minutes, or until potatoes are cooked through.
