This Chunky Sausage Soup with mixed beans in a rich tomato sauce, enhanced with Schwartz Classic Sausage Casserole Recipe Mix, is a hearty meal in itself. delicious served with crusty brown bread.
Ingredients
6 thick pork sausages
1 onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoons olive oil
400 gram tin mixed beans, drained and rinsed
400 gram tin, chopped tomatoes
1 packet
1 tablespoons Flat Leaf Parsley
Schwartz Sea Salt and Black Pepper to season
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Grill the sausages for 10 minutes, turning occasionally. Meanwhile, heat the oil and fry the onion for a few minutes until softened.
- 2 Add the beans and tomatoes. Chop the sausages into bite-sized chunks and add to the pan. Make up the casserole mix according to packet instructions. Add to the saucepan.
- 3 Add 450ml (¾ pint) boiling water to the pan, season to taste and simmer for 10 minutes. Serve garnished with Parsley. Delicious served with chunks of brown bread.
