Liver au Poivre
Heat the oil and butter together in a frying pan. Sprinkle 1 tsp of the Tropical Mixed Peppercorns over the liver and press into the surface gently.
Toss the liver in the flour, add to the pan and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until tender, turning occasionally. Transfer to a warmed serving dish.
Add the mushrooms and remaining Tropical Mixed Peppercorns to the pan and fry for 1-2 minutes, stirring. Stir in the cream, water and salt. Bring to the boil, simmer for 1 minute, and pour over the liver.
